Brockley Brewery was founded by a small group of local residents - Pete, Andy, Mike A, Rachel, Mike B, Deb and Kieran - with a shared yearning to brew top quality ale. Seeing the variety and standard of locally produced food improve radically, they saw a gap for locally produced beer. Setting up shop in a disused builder’s workshop in Harcourt Road, they put their brewing experience and skills together and set out on a mission to bring the finest ales to south-east London.
From their first brew in March 2013, they passed the 50,000th pint milestone in September 2014. In October they opened their doors for direct sales of fresh beer to take away. Open to the public on Friday evenings between 5.30-7.30pm and Saturdays 11-6pm for fresh beers to take away. The brewery bar is open 12-6pm Saturdays.
