Nicolas Wild was a “Made in Brockley” special guest for 10 days, 10 days to work on a project of his choice about Brockley. The result is surprising and we love it!
Nicolas Wild is a French comic book author who became famous with his comic books series “Kabul Disco”, chronicling his two-year humanitarian mission in Afghanistan with a sharp and humorous pen. His exploration of a Persian world brought him to Iran with a graphic novel, “Silent was Zarathustra” in which the author investigates the mysterious assassination of a key Iranian figure of Zoroastrism, one of the first monotheistic religions. It’s fun, it’s wild and really interesting. He also worked for Arte Television and produced two graphic reportages, one in a refugee camp in Nepal in 2013, one in Chernobyl in 2016 and a video reportage about press cartoon and the aftermath of Charlie Hebdo shooting in 2015.
“Silent was Zarathustra” received the prize France Info in 2014 and was selected at the famous Angoulême International Comics Festival in 2014.
